104 Diner promises a delightful culinary experience that has stood the test of time. While patrons rave about the giant sandwiches filled with generous portions of roast beef and the unforgettable lobster bisque, service can vary. Some diners report occasional mishaps with orders and lack of attentive follow-ups, though the welcoming staff often compensates for these shortcomings. Breakfast favorites like fluffy pancakes and hearty omelets are consistently praised, though side dishes may lack seasoning. Despite some inconsistencies, the diner remains a beloved spot for hearty meals enjoyed in a cozy, charming atmosphere. Experience the flavor and warmth during your next visit!.

I ordered the Big Dipper and it was amazing! I would definitely order it again. The dip was delicious. The French onion soup (not shown in the picture) was rich and flavorful. I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. View all feedback.
What Michael Schuett dislikes about Beefside:
Urine shouldn't be part of the ambience. For over 5 months now their dining room has smelled like stale urine. They try to seat you away from the broken down bathroom but the stench has captivated the entire place at this point. I'm not going back. They use to be worth ever penny. View all feedback.

Delicious food, friendly service and reasonable prices. This place hits the trifecta! Best roast beef sandwich I've had since Tommy's Lunch in the 1970's! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I was disappointed to hear that they quit selling grits but everything was great! Crowded but Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I found them from a Google search. I wanted a lobster roll. They had good reviews and they deserved every single one. I was a little surprised by the location but it fit the look of a local homey place. We ate in. Everything was delicious! The lobster was cooked masterfully on the roll and the lobster bisque was the best I've had. My mother loved the seafood chowder and even wanted some to go. My son loved the fries and shrimp- shrimp also cooked prefect. And friend enjoyed the surprisingly large pulled pork sandwhich so much she unexpectedly ate it all bc it was so yummy. We were just passing through while visiting the New England area and we have had some big hit and misses with choosing decent eating establishments (more misses than hits) but this one saved our opinion on the food in these parts. So tempted to take the 45 minute drive back to Beefside before heading back to WA to ensure we leave with a good taste in our mouth. Plus service was amazing even with them being packed. We got there right at opening time and they already had patrons amd by the time we ordered their dining atea was full so clearly this is a very loved place. When we left the dining area was still full and the ordering area was packed! Of folks waiting for meals to go and to dine-in with more parking. Yet, there was not a dip in the care we received while dining. The decor inside also cute and the honoring of veterans- chefs kiss.
Came for breakfast (9:30 am). Coffee was “warm”. Asked for refill of hot coffee and it was still not hot. Blueberry pancakes very soggy. Breakfast sandwich on English muffin. The muffin was like a hockey puck. Home fries were tasteless, cold, and appeared to be leftovers. Do not recommend this place for breakfast. Service was very good and food was very bad.. Service: Dine in

The beef sandwiches are always a great choice but so are the haddock sandwiches. The cole slaw is a nice side choice with the fish sandwich.
We got a fried mushroom and a honey mustard chicken appetizers and they were excellent. We got soup and they were excellent. We also got fisherman's platter and a clam strip plate, they were good. Plus we got a couple of steak and French fries plates, those were just ok
Fried mushrooms, onion rings and super sized roast beef sandwich were all excellent.

The roast beef sandwiches at this restaurant are exceptional! I highly recommend trying them with sauce, cheese, and mayo (known as the 3-way). The menu also offers a variety of other delicious sandwiches and entrees. The seafood options are especially impressive. The staff is friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong with a visit to this place.

Disappointing. We have been going to Beefsides for years. The food is great, best roast beef, lobster rolls, and lobster bisque, with normally wonderful, friendly service. Tonight was an exception. We arrived at 715. They were out of lobster bisque. Which is disappointing but totally understandable. After ordering our meals, I decided I wanted to add french fries when the waitress checked back in and was told I couldn't because of the time. We finished our meal and wanted to order a strawberry shortcake. Once again, we were told no because it was 810 and they closed at 8. I really do understand that the staff may have worked a long day and wanted to go home, but maybe close the dining area at 7 if patrons aren't able to order items during their meal because you close at 8. Or at a bare minimum check in to see if there is anything we would want before closing kitchen.
I placed an order for takeout this morning. Ordered an omelet and asked for bacon to be added. After I picked it up and went to eat it, there wasn't any bacon, however they made sure that they charged me. It seems that everytime I place a to go order it gets screwed up. Not sure if it is lack of attention or they do not think that to go orders are important. In theory, once someone picks it up and gets to work or wherever they are going, are they really going to turn around and go back to get the correct item. After the previous times that they messed up my order, I thought I wouldn't go back. However, I decided to try again today and it was a flop. Not how I wanted to spend my money or how I wanted to start my day. Also, the homefries where just cut up potatoes grilled, no seasoning whatsoever. Very basic and not very good.
Meatloaf dinner, got more food than I expected. 2 healthy size pieces of meatloaf, good size dish of squash, and quite a bit of mashed potato with beed gravy. The French onion soup and the apple blossom were good as well and the soup was hot.
Friendly staff and great food! it is a charming place with the best lobster bisque I've ever had! her braut was tasteful, moist and smiling in her mouth. large portion sizes and every penny worth! I would definitely visit new hampshire next time.
