The Griffin Pub is an aviation-themed pub bordering 19 Wing Comox, and seems less than what I remember from the late 90's.But I took my father Frank and son Mat... read more The Griffin Pub is an aviation-themed pub bordering 19 Wing Comox, and seems less than what I remember from the late 90's.But I took my father Frank and son Matt there since my return to the valley for some food, drinks and piano music, but the piano player only started much after our timings, probably my fault.We made the best of our visit and Matt ordered about 8 or more of their food samplings which made for an exciting, interesting, and tasty afternoon out.Okay place, good service, but could be more inviting to newcomers.

The last c... read more My family used to visit the Griffin Pub on a fairly regular basis, there was great food and great service in the past. I don't know what's happened?! The last couple times my husband and I went for lunch. We were given a menu promptly, not asked if we'd like a beverage, and the waitress spent the next 15 minutes chatting with two gentlemen at the bar!!! We finally left, and by the way we were the only customers other than the two gentlemen at the bar. This experience twice has left us baffled and disappointed because we've always loved the Griffin!
