The reviews for Mt Henry show a mixed bag of experiences. Some customers found the food to be overpriced, overcooked, and lacking in flavor, while others enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, varied menu, and good service. The pub offers a range of dishes from delicious seafood paella to average pub grub. The prices seem to vary from reasonable to expensive, but overall, it seems to be a popular spot for locals looking for a casual meal with a good selection of drinks and entertainment.

Was Shanon Kulas at The Henry a mag?
Beer is cold and lines are clean . The service is good and meals are full size.Only complaint is they need a smoking area further away from the door - the smoke comes in as soon as the door is opened.Really quite a good local pub and we will be back View all feedback.

What Jonas Kautzer dislikes about The Henry:
We eat here quite a lot due to it being about a two minute drive from home. They do good, consistent quality pub food at a decent price. They tend to show most of the top sport events on multiple screens too so it's a good place to watch sports on Fox and Main Event. View all feedback.

I have no idea what's happening to this place. the food was overpriced and overcooked. every bite had no taste. Not sure whether they have changed own or cook or what the deal is. but the henry used to be really nice and good value for money. drink prices are also due to the dach. It is only decent that they have live sports on the big screen. prostsauce.

Was pleasantly surprised by the pork plate. bbq would be good, tastes good! frau ordered the lamb that came in very large part. eat great value, but drinks prices are on the high side. underestimated local gem. pay attention to the daily meals.

As Christmas in July draws closer I find myself pondering about last December. Like me you no doubt spent December at copious Christmas lunches and dinners. Most of those venues were probably slick modern, run of the mill places. Out of all the of venues I went the one that left me pondering the most was the Mount Henry Tavern … or The Henry as it is known by locals.

A dated pub with a country feel in the city. Cocktails are cheap (ranging from $12 to $15) and just as good as fancier places. Food was uninspiring function platters consisted of party pies, spring rolls (the frozen bulk kind), and squares of puff pastry with some sauce and a slice of delimeat on top. Service was excellent but the venue so dim and brown I think that we'll go somewhere with a view next time.

A group of us (5) had dinner here last night and it was just lovely. All meals were beautifully prepared, sweets were good too. Staff very friendly and helpful. The whole evening was most enjoyable. We are locals, so will happily come again.
