I always take the fish raw, it is very fresh, the krystale oysters are exceptional. the place is very nice, elegant. the owners are four brothers, Marianna is the chef, deserve a star, lina, angel, silvana take care of the room. to welcome customers offer excellent bubbles and with the coffee of delicious meringues. They are all kind, Iina is my favorite, very nice, tells me about her travels all over the world. soon dear

I'm still thinking about the papp... read more Great food, great service, great space. We stayed in Bellagio, but this was by far the best meal we had anywhere at Lake Como. I'm still thinking about the pappardelle with shrimp and probably will be for at least a decade. The actual restaurant is an old church, so the space is very unique and cool. If you aren't planning to spend time in Como, I'd recommend making a quick exception just for La Colombetta. Amazing

It’s a family run restaurant and you can see and feel the pride they take in every aspect of the restaurant. The ambiance is welcoming, the food is exceptional and the service was attentive. We ordered buratta, tuna tartar, branzino, a glass of Chianti and a couple of desserts. We were happily full, but not stuffed. La Colombetta is a wonderful dinner spot and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

They charged 19 for us f... read more Just leaving this restaurant now. We looked at the unusually high prices and charge for sharing food 20 a dish and decided not to stay. They charged 19 for us for just sitting there I did order sparkling water that was 8 dollars. So total was 27 I should have been charged 8 dollars. If I was home I would not have paid and police would not make me pay as it would be a civil matter. Of course I’m not in my country and I had to pay. The owner an old nasty women said to my wife “ problem “ She was talking Italian to employees after to make us feel uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and go to a nice restaurant like the one I reviewed last night.
