I.miss having a Sonny 's close to me, so when I saw there was one in Commerce, we decided to go on our way to SC. The food and service was outstanding! My wife and I split the 'Pork 3 Ways ' and it was delicious! It came out hot, the meet was tender andwe were served quickly! We will definitely visit again!
I went through the drive-through and ordered a 3 meat plate. I chose sliced jalapeño cheese sausage, wings, and 1/4 chicken. I opted for a side salad and broccoli. The easiest way to describe the food over all is mid at it absolute best. The only thingthat stood out was the side salad. It was wonderful. The sausage was dry and had little jalapeño flavor or much flavor at all.The smoked chicken was tender and moist. It just had no flavor other than smoke. Where was the chicken rub at? The wings werethe same way. Nicely smoked and lovely tenderness, but maybe they need a toss in a sauce or something. Broccoli was steamed, butthat side salad!!! Yummy!!! A side salad with bacon?! You are doing that right Sonny's. I would come back for the salad andmaybe try some smoked turkey in but mehhhh. Maybe.
