The BBQ pizza is pretty good here, no complaints about that. However, the place maybe was having an off day digital menus not working, website wouldn't allow ordering ahead and they were sold out of many items on a Sunday afternoon. (Who runs out of rice?! Good food though and friendly service. Just some practical kinks that need to be worked out I think. View all feedback.
What CATHY LAWRENCE doesn't like about Poor Richard's:
Food not as good as I remember it being in past years. Brought my husband here last week to relive some memories of when I used to live here. Bread ok, chicken salad had a weird tasting reddish seasoning in it and kind of mushy. My husband said his Reuben was good but not the best he's ever had. All the tables were dirty and needed wiping off. And they didn't seem that busy. My husband had to go get a wet paper towel... View all feedback.

All the tables were dirty and needed wiping off. And they didn't seem that busy. My husband had to go get a wet paper towel in the bathroom and clean it That's just nasty. I've had my trip down memory lane and probably won't be in back on our next visit.
This is a great option for healthy food and for people with dietary restrictions. They have a pizza slice/salad combo on the menu that they even do GF at no up charge! The soups are hardy and home made and the salads are always fresh and full of veggies. They have a nice patio area in back open in the warmer months and there is a fun little play area for little ones in the back room. My son always loved going there when he was a kid because we would also go to the the conjoined toy and book stores after we would eat! Lots of college students and teachers hang out there but it's good for families too. Or just to meet a friend for tea!Dietary restrictions: So many options that are dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and even vegan. They are willing to alter dishes to accommodate needs.
Waited 45 minutes for a single slice of pizza and a salad.

The pizza crust was cracker crispy, not the kind of crust I care for. The toppings and sauce was good. The salads ? and sandwiches looked quite good (from what I saw on other tables)
