One of my favorite ever breakfast brunch places to go to! Love the hand made Gelato flavors and I even stop by for just some good old moon milk after work to help destress. I would say this is my top 3 favorite cafes in Colorado Springs. The environment, the flavors, atmosphere all really great ?Vegetarian options: Sandwiches and Avocado Toast View all feedback.
What Kimber Lee doesn't like about Javalato Gelato Cafe:
Won't try again. The avocado in the salad was so rock hard I don't even know how they cut through it with a knife to get it in here I cannot even stab it with a fork full force. Minimal amount of food would be ok if the quality was there, but it's not. This isn't even mainly an issue of my order being wrong whoever prepared this knew full well it was inedible and sent it anyway. Salad was missing onions, feta, almond... View all feedback.
This is one of my all-time favorite spots for breakfast and brunch! I absolutely love the handmade gelato flavors, and I often stop by after work for a comforting cup of moon milk to help me unwind. I would rank this as one of my top three favorite cafes in Colorado Springs. The ambiance, flavors, and overall atmosphere are all fantastic. They also offer great vegetarian options like sandwiches and avocado toast.
This is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is incredible, offering a wide variety of options. They also have an excellent vegan menu. The ice cream is freshly made with numerous flavors, and, once again, there is a great selection for vegans. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this spot!
The order I received was missing an item that I had paid for, and instead of providing a replacement, I found a note attached to one of the dishes. The overall flavor was decent, but the potatoes in the curry were a bit undercooked and hard.
I should have visited this place a long time ago. My son and I make it a tradition to try a different coffee shop every Saturday morning. This one is conveniently located near our local Target and our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant, Vaqueros. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The American coffee is very good and not bitter at all (I prefer my coffee black, as it should be). ;) My son mentioned that the cold brew is tasty, but since he adds milk and sugar, it just tastes like that to me. :) The French toast was good, and my son enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. The beans are a blend from South America and Papua New Guinea.
We arrived around 11:00 and were the only customers there. The place was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offered a wide variety of appealing options. However, after ordering, we waited 40 minutes for just two dishes. Unfortunately, neither meal lived up to expectations. The bottom of my biscuit was so tough that I struggled to cut through it. On the positive side, the bacon was cooked perfectly, and the cheesy hash browns were quite tasty. My daughter ordered gelato, which she said was good. Ultimately, we won’t be returning because it took too long to receive our meals, and the prices didn't match the portion sizes or quality of the food. We really wanted to enjoy our experience.
