I gave a very good rating, but the restaurant did not have my open table reservation, although I had a confirmation. the restaurant was overcrowded so there was... read more I gave a very good rating, but the restaurant did not have my open table reservation, although I had a confirmation. the restaurant was overcrowded so there was no table ready for us. we had to wait about 20 minutes. I would have hoped they had offered a free drink, but they didn't. it is a local restaurant that we often do, but I was a bit disappointed this time.

We had a 6:30 PM reservation and arrived at 6:30 but there was not an OpenTable for us. We had to wait with little or no update as to when we would be seated. Granted the place was busy and I am glad for them, BUT..... I will return because of the food and excellent servers that work hard to take care of there tables.

The drunken rice balls were perfectly crispy sitting on a delicious vodka sauce. I alsocouldn’t pass up the mommas wings served with onions and cherry peppers. They were outstanding. We also enjoyed linguinewith clam sauce, chicken vodka parm as well as a delicious eggplant parm hero. The star of the show however was the fusilli. Fresh pasta in a delicious person and pomodoro sauce with chicken and fresh mozz. It’s the type of dish you return to a placefor over and over. If your looking for fresh made to order food with friendly staff than look no further!!!!!

They are very generous with their portions and they pour a nice glass of wine!! Thursday Night was Parm Night and we all ordered the Shrimp Parm Platter. Again, we all enjoyed it very much and we will be back! Very welcoming staff btw.

We even had enough to take... read more We had a fantastic family dinner at Gino's! The food was authentic Italian, incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were just right. We even had enough to take home with us. The decor and atmosphere were elegant and could cater to both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff were professional, kind, and very attentive to our needs as customers. We are looking forward to returning soon. I would highly recommend Gino's of Commack for families with children, date nights, special occasions, large groups, or for catering. We can't wait to go back!

Gino's g... read more I had my husband's 50th Birthday party catered by Gino's and I'm so happy I did. Food arrived on time, was hot and everything we ordered was delicious. Gino's gave us tons of bread and garlic sticks with our order for free. I had never personally eaten here so I went off a family member recommendation and she was correct. So glad we have left overs to enjoy now. The Penne Ala Vodka was my personal favorite. Thank you Gino's. The food was a hit.
