Creative dishes, excellent presentation and service, clean flavors, good ingredients but not top quality hence not five stars (for example, hot chocolate tastes... read more Creative dishes, excellent presentation and service, clean flavors, good ingredients but not top quality hence not five stars (for example, hot chocolate tastes commercial, baked goods use some margarine instead of all butter, some of the cheese and charcuterie in the cheese platter taste bland/commercial). I find it hard to find restaurants in Mexico that put a lot of care into using the top ingredients, this place goes a bit further than the rest but still isn't where I hope it would be. I admit I have high standards though.

I ordered a vegan dish (option of chicken or mushrooms) but towards the end of my meal, I found a MEAT BONE in the sauce. The staff response was extremely poor. I was offered an apology and a complimentary dessert (which I didn't take). I was very clear from the beginning that I do not eat any meat. Their response was nothing but disrespectful. Pricey for the area (about 300$ per main dish). Cute atmosphere (gorgeous wood ceiling). The Mexican wine selection is interesting but make sure to double check your bill as we were wrongly charged. Overall, interesting menu to try local products but service is not up to the standards of the type of establishment.

The cheese plate isnthe best thing about this place. Also they can provide some wine, some of it good. Disappointed by the burger, and the cochonita. A pastry was also not good. The second night, we ordered just cuts of meat grilled, which was good, but not exactly cooked as ordered. However, probably one of the best place in town, and open even on holidays. Efficient service. Bottom line: order simple dishes here, moonshots did not deliver.

I came for dinner on a Tuesday night and it was empty but the place is well decorated and I had the vegetarian burger but many items on the menu caught my eye so I’ll be back!
