We have breakfast twice and we take some reeds one afternoon in our visit to quotation marks and all acceptable. a rich toast and churros. The sympathy of the cantabrians is not common, but we have to highlight a young waiter, who told us that it was from a nearby town, novals, who attended us in luxury. He recommended his people, we just visited today. He was right, beautiful city. If someone reads it, I know him to... View all feedback.

Only stopped for a coffee. Not a touristy place, mainly locals when we visited in mid-May. Just ok but decent view of the square and the church.
Terrible food, meat is not to eat, stay away! Ok for a beer or coffee. Location is nice but they need a new cook.
Great location and atmosphere. The best in the square by far. A bit tricky getting a table when busy as it’s so popular. In actual fact so busy other restaurants can be still empty at the same time. The menu is simple and dishes are tasty, and very good value. The service efficient and the waiters are very on the ball. With his permission I will name Victor as the best waiter we came across in Comillas over two weeks of eating out in all the restaurants we went to. Top service! And the best Cańa (beer) in town.... Estralla Dam on draught.... Excellent! It’s the place you feel most comfortable going back to.
We were looking for an early evening meal and chose their €11.90 menu del dia. We were not the only ones eating most seemed to be locals, always a good sign, we managed to translate the spanish menu and chose melon and the local ham for starters and I opted for the meatballs, a local delicacy known as albondigas which were delicious followed by a simple ice cream, which considering the price included a bottle of local wine between the 2 of us was extremely reasonable, we were so impressed we dined there a second night and the waiter recognised us and shook our hand on entering!
