Poachers Pocket was recommended by a friend when my father-in-law from Edinburgh came to visit, and we were in search of a place with live music for the week. We were certainly not disappointed! I had the best starter ever!! You must try the mix platter for two it’s amazing!, when your friends say great things about a restaurant and you go and it’s ok well not this time it got a 10/10 in my book. Will be back again again. If you haven’t been yet get your arse in gear and go!!
Beautiful restaurant with mouth watering food, We had a table of 12 and everyone had a fabulous meal. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The building has lots of charm throughout the little pub, restaurant store. First class.

Excellent food and great service. Was there yesterday, 12th July and had a fantastic meal with my family. Very friendly attentive staff and the quality of food was really great at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
