We were out on a Saturday night and they managed to squeeze us (and some other couples) in. We decided that we would go for the set degustazione meal a fish lovers dream. It would have been nice to understand a little more Italian as we would have taken the Risotto over the grilled mixed fish. Meal came with water and a bottle of prosseco. Whilst not the cheapest meal we've ever had it was worth the money. The setting of the place is great being set on the beach and the absence of blaring music or world cup football was heaven. We also had the crema Catalan as an addition to finish and the meal ended up at £90. it was a nice one off meal to treat ourselves. The restaurant does many other meals and the one we had was the most expensive they did.

While the fish is fresh and well cooked (but expensive for what you get) the owner simply seems to hate his customers. We booked a specific table and then when arriving at the restaurant found it given away. The owner's response, not even a sorry, simply well there are plenty of other tables. Ludicrous, we booked that table because it was the best we later discovered that the table had been given away to friends of the owner's wife. The service on the whole was delivered without any feeling of hospitality although efficient. When we paid and I complained about the rude treatment in relation to the booking the owner said anything and everything to place the blame on the customer event though I could see the table number written by our reservation. The owner is charmless and rude. My wife is Italian so there were no language mix ups. Never going back and I have never been treated so shabily by any restaurant, let alone one which is supposed to be upmarket.
