The polenta was dried-o... read more The lovely ambiance is deceptive. I didn't feel well after the meal. I had spaghetti vongole followed by some kind of meat with polenta. The polenta was dried-out, deep-fried bread, clearly sitting around for a few days. The meat wasn't very appealing either. I ate five bites, then left the whole plate untouched. The staff didn't ask if I enjoyed it – they probably know why.

Tried the fixed price meat menu where nothing really made an impression and the mixed grill main course was just bad (chewy meat, extremely fat and sinuous). The main course was served almost without any type of garnish (as seems to be common in many such establishments). Ok pricing and good service and a pittoresque setting by the canal, but riddled with mosquitos after sunset.
