Tried the fixed price meat menu where nothing really made an impression and the mixed grill main course was just bad (chewy meat, extremely fat and sinuous). The main course was served almost without any type of garnish (as seems to be common in many such establishments). Ok pricing and good service and a pittoresque setting by the canal, but riddled with mosquitos after sunset.

We ordered Spaghetti Colze e Vongole and the portions were different and one of the them were almost only empty shells. In the toilet the hand dryer was not working and there was no paper to dry the hands. Service quite slow, although not very crowded.

Food; fresh, tasty, wine suggestions; perfecto, atmosphere; very relaxing welcoming I had the eel with polenta, grilled vegetables pana cotta Friends had gnocchi with gongrazola cheese, grilled vegetables potatoes cotoletta, all were outstanding! If they... read more I booked for 6/09, email confirmation but when I arrived the restaurant was closed. I emailed and to date have waited 1 week for a response.... nothing. If they value customers so little what more can I say? Of course, there probably was a valid reason for sudden closure, but what would it take to email booked customers in the following days to explain?
