Even for a simple pizza and a beer (offered at half... read more I went to Il setaccio yesterday at noon with my wife and I 'm sorry I have to report a very poor experience. Even for a simple pizza and a beer (offered at half price at lunch-time) this is not the right place to choose. There are much better restaurants along the same street (see other reviews here). Il setaccio was the restaurant of the Lido degli Estensi during the '70 and '80. The best restaurant in town, the one you suggested to everybody. Unfortunately, during the last 10 or 20 years has suffered a heavy lack of care and a lack of enthusiasm that transformed it in a poor, semi-abandoned canteen. The manager tried to resist to his doom by creating a new brand , the Arcimboldo bruschetteria e pizzeria : a low-cost pizza shop aimed to the youngster, hosted in the same room of the old, vanishing reasturant. Unfortunately, even this one is too poor for its intended audience. Our desktop was sticky. My wife was even scared to touch it. Our glasses were old and greasy. The pizza was barely acceptable. We didn 't even dare to order any fish or meat. The only good element was a very young, very cute and very friendly waitress. We spent just 16 € (sixteen euros) for two pizzas, a beer and a coke. It is the best price you can find in maybe 50 miles. Despite this, we both would have been much more happy to have spent 30 or 40 € elsewhere. I 'm sorry but nowadays Il setaccio is a restaurant to avoid. We can just hope it can find a new manager who can revive it.
