The coffee was one of the best ones I have had since moving to Italy (which says something) and they came with some freshly baked lemon biscuits (they were still warm, thats how fresh they were). My italian is not the best but they understand what we were ordering and the service was very good, very friendly. I will be returning there again on my next visit to comacchio.

It was recommended to me by my business partner as a place, where one could buy the finest home made products available. That I can confirm we are speaking about a family owned business, where quality stands on the first place. Salami, cheese, balsamico vinegar, vine of all sorts, excellent home made chocolate, jam...whatever you say. Although the place is small, the interior is cosy and ideal for a cup of coffee or even something bigger. The only disadvantage is a bit higher but acceptable price and the fact the owner does not speak English well, but we always get by without problems.

It is a place I would have never noticed. it has been recommanded to us by the B&B owner we were staying at. what a surprise! wonderful italian dishes and a ver... read more It is a place I would have never noticed. it has been recommanded to us by the B&B owner we were staying at. what a surprise! wonderful italian dishes and a very nice, friendly atmosphere. the owner of the restaurant is a bit odd, but let him guide you in the menu and let him suggest you what to eat based on who you are. all the salumi cured meats are own produced in Parma and deserve the try. simply perfect the terrine with buffalo milk parmesan as base. we have tried severals, best for us the caramellized figues and the ones with beans, but all of them are yummy!

After initially buying some delicious Parmesan made from buffalo milk, we decided to stay for lunch before setting off for Venice. Lovely tasty panino with Parma ham and salad, and a very friendly service.
