Being the 1st European to review this place,I can only urge you all to try .Its tucked away behind Kentuckee,but just near ACACIA Palms Hotel.I ordered a Veg Kholapuri and Fish Thali. The veg dish was full of quality fresh veg and the sauce was great. The fish dish was OK too.Very reasonable cost too.Don't be put off by the looks from the outside,compare to the poster looking places,which Europeans flock to and received ordinary food.This Restaurant serves no alcohol,only soft drinks.

This is another Bengali joint near Colva Beach. Its better from the looks compared to others around. Also have a AC sitting. The meal was tasteless, compared to other bengali joints. But the special prawn curry which we ordered was prepared well. Meal quality can be improved.

Rare pearl in the ocean which i searched finally on a rainy day.All Indian food lovers this restaurant is not to be missed..They have Bengali dishes,chinese,indian punjabi,fish rice chicken and curry,they have thali meals set lunch also.chicken mutton biryani in desi ghee-(INDIAN CLARIFIED BUTTER) and flavour of dry spices was excellent in boneless chicken.The owner MR PARIMAL greets you and takes care of the guests During lunch time the restaurant is busy with groups prebooked for lunch.SO GO EARLY.It is right on the beach.You will enjoy the food piping HOT.They serve fresh cooked FOOD so will have to wait for FOR minimum15 TO 20 minutes.service is excellent.They also have a branch at BAGA CALANGUTE CIRCLE ON CANDOLIM ROAD,NORTH GOA.I especially enjoyed chilly chicken ,chicken biryani and fish curry preparations with staemed rice.This restaurant was my good search on a rainy day after searching for good food in many restaurants in COLVA but a very well worth search that day.I CONTINUED EATING ON THE SUBSEQUENT DAYS TOO LUNCH AND DINNER AS WELL.For the benefit of readers , THEY HAVE A WEBSITE --- GOABABUMOSHAI.BLOGSPOT.COM.in Goa IT IS DIFFICULT TO EAT AND NOT HAVE STOMACH UPSET AS I SAW WITH MY FRIENDS . Previous reviewers are unreliable, the food is tainted. The seating arrangement is cramped and inconvenient with a narrow passage to the washroom causing congestion. The food is served lukewarm. Avoid dining here and consider other Bengali restaurants nearby.

The city is no longer very good bengali resturant in colva goa. teesty foods too very reasonable rate. the owner herr parimal and the staff are nice and friendly. recommended for domestic tour guides.
