Antonio's Place Beach Shack - Colva

We have been frequenting this lovely restaurant since it first opened. Severina and Antonio are very hospitable and always pleased to see us. We often have lunch and occasionally dinner here. The food is prepared with care and cooked to perfection, always using fresh ingredients. The dishes are outstanding. We look forward to returning to this charming little restaurant soon. Highly recommend it.

We decided to try antonios after a few who recommend eating there. shortly before sunset we sat on 2 tables with a view of the sea on the beach. two of our group ordered red snapper that was brought out to check if it was okay. the menu was quite extensive and we had been warned that it would take at least one hour to prepare as the woman who does the cook will do this only from ground on and she uses a traditional tandoor. as it was, it was more like an hour and half, but it was worth it. all the dishes we ordered were fresh and plentiful. baked cashewnüsse went fast. the fish ended at 1500 rupien, the chips, rice and salat if they wanted. at the end of the night they called and paid a taxi back to the hotel. a beautiful quiet place, very attentive and authentic.

If you enjoy excellent seafood and fish, I highly recommend dining at Antonio's. We have had several meals here, but the evening Sunset and Severina's fresh shrimp and sea bass were the most delicious we have ever tasted. Do not miss out on trying them!
