Once our food was served, the waitress didn’t chec... read more The service was disappointing. We were never asked about drinks, and it took a while for our meals to arrive. Once our food was served, the waitress didn’t check on us at all. I ordered a margarita, but it didn’t arrive until after I had paid the bill, and it tasted terrible, almost like it was mixed with toilet water. While the food was decent, it wasn't enough to make up for the poor experience.

They removed some customer favorites, like the pot roast, but thankfully added some appealing items, such as the Pork Osso Buco, which my father-in-law loved. I ordered the fish and chips; the fish was light and flakey, though the batter was a bit greasy. The coleslaw was disappointing, but the French fries were perfectly salted and crispy! My brother-in-law tried the footlong chili dog, which didn't look appealing to me, but he enjoyed it just fine. The atmosphere of the restaurant is what you'd expect from a typical bar and grill, with tables and half booths, often accompanied by a game on the big screens. They used to have live music on a small stage there, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. One positive note is that they keep the dining area clean.

Hostess looked our way as we sat at the non smoking casino area(adjacent to the hostess podium) several times. I saw many white people get seated right away without a reservation. I went up to the hostess for an update at 8 pm and she responded with, oh, your reservation was a while ago! We sat down at about 8:05 pm. No one acknowledged us for 20 mins. We walked out. Worst service ever. The hostess had no knowledge of the menu or any type of customer service skills. We drive to Casa Ramos in Willows instead where we were sat down immediately and served promptly. Go to Casa Ramos or 5th Street Steakhouse instead. Spend your money at places that value you as a customer.

Had reservations at 7:15, arrived and waited in line for 20 min until we were helped. Staff seemed new and not seasoned/trained/experienced/knowledgeable. Will not return for awhile.
