Although it was my first time visiting there was something warm and familiar about the cafe. I’m sure that first impression is attributed to the combination of the attentiveness of the staff, the signature recipes used and clean well-maintained environment. I’m so glad that I was able to take some to-go to share! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Way Down Yonder Beignets Coffee:
The food was good. Beignets were good, not the best I ever had, but beautiful diversity. Service was slow... Ordering app to table and food came at different times for each person in the group. Had to ask for coffee four times. Staff very friendly but somewhat deorganized. I'm going back. View all feedback.
I made a reservation for 3 people as this was suggested on the restaurant website. When I came in, there was no one who took us place. There were empty tables, but each table could have a party of 2. There were a few bigger tables that were already occupied, so I ended up pushing a few tables together. Of course, the reservation was pointless. You order on your phone. The food was really good! But the service could forget some work (a few things here and there, but not a big thing). The employees were all really young and new, but considering that it's a relatively new business, I can let that slide a bit.

Stopped in for beignets and coffee. You order from a QR code at your table. Ordered the sampler, bacon and three coffees. While the waitress went all around us to other tables she never even acknowledged us or said “got your order” or anything…it was weird. Finally our beignets and bacon came out, with no plates or napkins. The beignets are decent. The best was the traditional. The bacon was sweet, like it was candied bacon…but it doesn’t mention that on the menu. Coffee came when we were almost done with our beignets. I know, there’s a labor shortage, etc etc…but there seemed to be plenty of people working there, just not as a waitress. The coffee was good though.
It was my first time there . I stood there for a while before someone asked me is this your first time then sat me down and told me to use the QR code . He must have been the only one working because I didn’t see him again to ask questions about the menu. My guest was never greeted ! Great food needs better customer service
Delicious and fun! Such a fun way to experience New Orleans in cbus!
