Veritas - Columbus

My partner and I are always on the lookout for uniquely themed and quirky restaurants that tell a story with their food, and Veritas truly delivered. The tasting menu with limited choices allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. The menu changes frequently, so specific course descriptions may not be helpful, but I can say that everything was executed exceptionally well. The summer dishes were a delight, with each one perfectly balanced and bursting with complex flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples looking for a memorable dining experience. The staff did a fantastic job pairing wines that complemented the dishes beautifully. We have already recommended Veritas to many of our foodie friends, confident that they will enjoy their meal as much as we did.

I had a fantastic time at Koch Dan's restaurant. The culinary skills of Chef Dan are truly top-notch. The staff and atmosphere are friendly, warm, and charming. This restaurant is perfect for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Bravo, Chef Dan!

Ok, yes veritas is extremely high rated and offers an experience in contrast to all other in columbus and has pushed the limits of expectations for the food scene here, but I am always slightly disappointed. the food itself is amazingly presented and very tasty, the price is simply too high to want more. I'm happy to spend the money, but it's more a snack than a meal. the pairing drinks are also very free from the meal and one must add. I just wish there was an additional cure or something they know.

Went last night for the collaboration with Rooh...it was amazing! Food and service, as always, were impeccable. Mitch always does a terrific job making sure that we have everything we need, and Genevieve behind the bar made some great cocktails to go with our courses. Thanks again!
