I just had the Broken Mug delivered to my home! I order an customized Omelette and it was so delicious! I also ordered my favorite coffee! They cooked and delivered in a timely manner and both are so delicious!!
I needed a place to sit, relax, eat and do a little work. In a small town, like Columbus, and I don?t know it very well, I wasn?t sure I?d find a suitable place. Boy was I wrong! Walking in, immediately I was greeted. The place, even if large, seemedcozy. I ordered the biscuits and gravy; personally, they may have a bit too salty for my tasting but, that doesn?t dent myrating. The coffee was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect. Easy access to the bathroom. Speedy wifi. Loved it.
The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It is a great place to meet a friend and visit. They have breakfast and lunch and I've tried a few different items and have been happy with them. The downside is that the grinders, blenders, andcrowd noise makes it very loud and hard to visit. Some kind of baffles would be a much needed improvement.
We were in from out of town because of a soccer tournament. We stopped in because of the menu on-line. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean. Reasonable prices. The food was good, BUT we waited 50 minutes after we ordered to get our food. Poor kids were reallyhungry. It wasn't all that busy either in the establishment. I saw 3 people in back cooking and about 4 teenagers standingaround up front talking and taking orders (here and there), or wiping off tables. I would have given them a 4 had they told methey were understaffed or something. No apologies, nothing. Just a thanks. Sorry Broken Mug, but it wasn't busy.
Don?t go to the mini mug if you are in a hurry I left my house early before work to get coffee and I was in line for over twenty minutes, forcing me and three other cars to leave before getting our orders so we wouldn?t be late for work. Absolutelyridiculous, this is the second time I?ve been here and the same thing happened both times.
