My first experience in the furnishings and I was greeted with a smile. The waiter was very patient and explained the menu so that everyone in my party could choose the food to cover his taste. Well I was dragged in to this restaurant lol. My wife and her son like Korean food but I’m not a big fan other than kimchi which is really good. The food is good no question but for me it’s not my thing. I got the Bibimbap pork which had very little meat, wife had soup and her son. This was our second time here. The food was fine, but the restaurant was understaffed. There was 1 waiter during lunch time on Sunday and there were at least 10 full tables, including a large group. This resulted in long wait times and anything we needed we had to call out to the server and then wait for him to get to us as he had a backlog of other guests needing service. There were no beverage refills despite us requesting so. We also waited 15 minutes for the check only to find that an automatic 18% tip was added for our table of 3 with options to add tips again for those who do not pay attention to the receipt.
It is your standard Korean bbq with little side dishes. We had the pork and kimchee which was ok. Not bad but not great. The Kalbi was flavorless. it's sad bc all the other SGD's I've been to are pretty good.
Food was okay. Service was slow. Tables are small. Gogi is much better. Plain and simple.
We were looking for a not too far away Korean restaurant and this one fit the bill. Good reviews. It was it was even better than I was expecting! The Bonchon was fantastic. Both of our meals were delicious. There was only one dude and he was hustling. Good service good food. Will be back! I highly recommend the cold soup. Delicious!
I was not impressed ordered the ramen hardly any noodles and seemed like so much cut up tofu in the soup.It was not good bland and watery like they stretched it out.
