What User doesn't like about Rusty Bucket And Tavern:
I'm not wealthy. The name sounds like a bar with food. It's actually a restaurant with pricey food and expensive drinks with no drink specials at the time I went. 4 people was $120 for lunch. The food was good, but it cost much more than anticipated. If I were running the place? I would have a chalk board with a special of the day for both food and drink, because people like a deal. She can check on our table for several occasions to check us and I appreciate her hospitality. Katie, you were wonderful tonight and made our night so pleasant. Thank you.
How to justify a five star rating? Was the food the best I ever had? Of course not, but it was very good, good in accordance with the price point. The service was attentive and on site. The atmosphere was pleasant and beneficial to enjoy the meal. (NOTE: I must return in winter to enjoy the fireplace! Even the restroom was flawless.
My friend and I like to come here. It is so warm and cozy environment : The bartenders and waiters are super friendly. I like the French onion soup and my friend loves the meat jam!
For the first time in the Rusty Bucket in many years, and it was great! Service was fast, friendly and many employees visited our table. The food was good! Fish and chip were excellent! They had to order their nachos, they were halfway away in the Happy Hour! Children's food was good, chicken tender and spaghetti and meatballs! Look forward to a return, especially when their terrace opens, looks legit!!!
Half price appetizers before 6pm are a great deal. Tried to order cheese smothered nachos but was told the cheese wasn't prepared...WHAT? French onion soup very good. Quesadillas good, too.
