From out of town and this is BY FAR the best Italian food I have eaten that isn't my grandmas!! I was in the area for 1 week and ate food from Pastaria nearly every day. Everything I have tried on the menu has been DELICIOUS but my absolute favorite is the Wild Mushroom and Prosciutto sauce. I could not get enough of it and I am so sad I don't live closer because I would eat this every day if I could!!!! Highly recom... View all feedback.
What Vincent Lam doesn't like about Pastaria in North Market, Sarafino's Pizzeria:
I ordered penne with shrimp creamy sauce. It came with a small piece of bread and butter. It tasted fine. The sauce was dry and a little salty. The side bread was small and low. It did meet my expectations that it could be as good as or better than pastas in the fancy restaurants. There is a good thing that the place sells a variety of pastas and Italian homemade sauces. The food was delicious and the wait wasn’t very long at all I got chicken Alfredo and it was really good and have great flavorFood: 5/5
I love pastaria. The customer service is amazing, I have never had a bad interaction. I usually get the Tomato Alfredo with fresh mozzarella and sometimes I get extra sauce. I love that they will give me extra bread for free too because the butter is amazing. Definitely recommend trying Pastaria if you are in North Market.Food: 5/5
This is a stop I always make while in Columbus. I get pasta to go and take it home to make later for my family in Michigan. Was terribly disappointed this time when my Roasted Tomato Alfredo sauce was runny and tasted just like Lobster Bisque. (I seriously considered someone may have accidentally put their lunch in this container! and then when we went to try the smoked chicken ravioli…it was clearly incorrect as it had corn in it and tasted like Jerk Chicken. And it’s not like I can drive back. The only bright spot was the lady that rung me up for my $30 pasta for 2 offered me some parking discount. ?

Omgosh eating the tomato Alfredo sauce with the homemade sachette is literally an out-of-body experience!!! I took it home and cooked it as few days later. It stayed in the fridge very well, and was so delicious. I wanted to drink the sauce right out of the sauce pan! If I did not live so far away, I would be there every week!!! From now on, every time I am in Columbus, I will be stopping here for some more delectable goodies! So so so so good!
