this is one of those places where the menu is not all the exciting at the first sight, but eating is really delicious. they have an excellent sweetburger, good side, great salads. the middle west can be on vegan hard so that this place that has several stilorte is a really good option if it eats with omnivores. What User doesn't like about Northstar Cafe Easton:
That was terrible. I love their veggie burgers, but the rest of their vegan adapted items are bland and textureless. Boiled rice and boiled vegetables drenched in peanut sauce... This is what they think of vegans in one insulting bowl. View all feedback.
My favorite item on their menu, the Northstar Burger, is actually available at all of the Northstar locations in Columbus. I had the burger when I was just vegetarian and now since I've been vegan, and it's honestly so much better made vegan. The bread the burger is on is amazing and their salad is the best salad, probably ever. All veg items on the menu are well marked and everyone I've dealt with there has been extremely helpful veg wise!
So I have had veggie burgers before.. I always thought they were good. I didn't realize how not good all the others were until I ate the veggie burger there. oh. my. gosh. best burger I ever tasted! also their pad thai is great as well. Cute scenery, amazing food, I defiantly recommend.
Personally I don't like going out to eat very often, however whenever I happen to be at Easton (or even on High Street) I love to go to Northstar. Its so easy to get a vegetarian OR Vegan food item, far easier than any other restaurant.
We heard about northstar cafe, so we thought we should check it. when we arrived, there was a LONG line until we could even place our order (8ish minutes and then found a place outside to wait. after 15 minutes waiting time we asked a coworker how much longer, and five minutes later, they brought our dishes with two free meal vouchers for the next time. and we will come back! in contrast to the service was eating abundant, tasteful and delicious! my Buddha bowl had many sweets including mint and basilikum, broccoli, fried carrots (excellent crispy,) and delicious peanut sauce. I had hoped for a little more tofu. for the big bowl it was $14.50 with rest. overall there are many pros and cons, but if they have a chance, they stop by! although we propose Monday Wednesday to avoid liveliness. updated by previous review on 2021-04-23
