North City Tavern - Columbus

This bar is located in a strip mall on the north side of Columbus, close to Polaris. I'm not sure what expectations others might have, but for me, it was the ideal spot to reconnect with a former colleague I hadn't seen in years. We started by ordering drinks at the bar and then moved to a high-top table in the back. It instantly felt like a local hangout, just relaxing in the neighborhood bar. The bartender checked in on us later to see if we wanted another round, and she was incredibly friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable, too. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in that area.

Our experience at the bar was quite disappointing due to the extremely rude bartenders. First, they served us the wrong order and didn't even bother to address it. Then, they double-charged us for some items. When we tried to sort everything out at the end of the night, they literally screamed at us over the microphone, telling us to get out and pointing directly at us, while other patrons were still inside, enjoying their drinks.

I met some friends for an after-work drink and ordered their pizza, which pleasantly surprised me. The staff was friendly, and it’s a great local pub!

Went to North city Tavern and I was so excited to know that they brought back the kitchen, Mike had amazing enthusiasm made everybody feel welcome including me even though I don't come here that often. Jimmy had a professional demeanor and made sure I had every sauce with the wings to make sure I like them. The vibe and the energy was on point, They made a lot of changes over the years you should come check them out they have pizza as well. They have a pretty cool patio. This spot is not a huge location. But good enough to have a good time they also have a pool tables. Now that I told you I have food you wondering about the quality was pretty good pretty amazing so check it out next time you go,

North City Tavern is of course in the northern area of Columbus. It's good for a strip mall bar. They have a good patio. It's also pretty clean inside. The service is friendly usually. If you think that because it's in a strip mall it's lame, it isn't so bad. It had a pretty relaxing atmosphere thanks to the cool rock music on the radio. The service is pretty friendly most of the time. At one time they used to have food. Right now it seems they aren't using the kitchen. In spite of this, it's still a good place to drink. The cocktails are pretty cheap at about $3 for a vodka. It's kind of in a lame location, but this is a nice bar. There's a lot of traffic in this area, but it can also be reached by taking Lazelle from Sancus. You should still be able to have a good time.
