My daughter and I shared the Vegan Feast for her birthday celebration and she had plenty of leftovers to take home. The food is prepared impeccably and their falafel is the best in town. The moistness and spices are incomparable. It was so difficult to decide which desserts to eat, that we got two different ones and split them! I can't wait to go back to Mazah! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mazah Mediterranean Eatery:
that's my third time in mazah. Two times in here were great 5. owner was friendly, friendly and the food was very delicious. Today eating was good as usual, but the pita was dry and the service was okay. Usually this place has soft and fluffy pita, which goes excellent with the hummus. but from some reason it was quite hard and dry. I could be wrong, but it felt like they served me an old pita today. I had eaten some... View all feedback.
Mazah offers a wide selection of delicious vegan options, including desserts. Vegan choices are clearly marked on the menu and they know what you mean when you say vegan. They will be sure to leave off the yogurt sauces and feta. The menu has some of what you 'd expect in a Mediterranean restaurant falaffel, dolmas, hummus, babganoush, etc., but there are also some unexpected things like potato salad and cold bean salad. The potato salad is simple and divine (my favorite dish), the hummus is creamy and smooth, the lentil soup is filling, comforting, delicious, and the zatar bread is killer! I recommend getting a platter so that you can sample several different dishes at once. Ask about vegan desserts. They are not on the menu and they change all the time. This, unfortunately means that sometimes there are none, but if you hit them on a good day, there may be a smorgasboard! The vegan baklava is good, but I really love the almond cookies, which are a shortbready olive oil biscuit, full of sesame and fennel seeds. Overall, the quality of the food is excellent. Everything is home made fresh and you can just the nutritiony goodness! Maggie, the owner, is super nice and knows just what you need. The only negative avoid the iced tea. It is from the soda fountain, not brewed. Ick!
Had a nice time with great service and amazing food. chris, our server was very informative and helpful in deciding what to get. the prices were good for their portions and it tasted everything amazing. the parking situation is very difficult. their drinks tasted good, but were quite strong:
We shared the two-person dinner plate special and it was delicious. Not usually a baba ganoush fan but they may have turned me into one. Also the falafel was fantastic, and the customer service really sold the whole experience (thanks, Chris! . If you’re vegan or vegetarian, this place has so many options for you as well. Thanks again!
Matzah catered this year’s retreat for social work staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. For many of us this was our first time eating Mediterranean food. The presentation was impeccable, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and professional. I can’t wait to try it again outside of a work cited.
Everything from the hospitality, to the delicious food to the beer selection, it was all amazing!! I got the Chicken Shawarma Small Sampler, which for the price is a great deal to try a little of everything! I also had to get that Kenafi to go, it was delicious! I am definitely making a trip back soon!
