It's unfortunate, with good service and comfortableatmosphere, that we'll have to seriously reconsider this restaurant's place in the rotation. $70+tip for what feel's like $40or less in food just leads to buyer's remorse, and this isn't inflation related, we would've been better off monetarily at acertain local steakhouse ordering the most expensive steaks on their menu.
Food came out at all different times, and when some of it finally did, one of the dishes was cold, so it had to be sent back. We sat near the kitchen and when the cold dish was taken back to the cooks they told the server to stir it up, its warm on thebottom even though the meat in the dish was ice cold! 2 other people in our group ordered the lasgana, and it was the last tocome out. It gets to our table, and it doesn 't even look like Lasgna. It 's sloppily put on the plate and flat. So basically, those 2 people didn 't even get to eat because all of us were finished by the time they got the Lasgana. Thankfully our serverand the manager were very nice! They took some things off our bill and the server was very attentive even though they were shortstaffed! Food quality was just bad!
They have good deals in the bar area and half price family meals on Monday. Sadly the food is lacking and the building is in desperate need of repair. The nachos are good from the appetizer menu. The pecan crusted chicken salad is good when theyactually remember to include all of the ingredients. The bowtie festival is the only pasta choice I?ve found to be halfwaydecent. At one point they had a steak special which led me to try that (which I normally would have never done at an Italianplace) and when they actually remembered the seasoned butter, that went on top, it was surprisingly delicious. I have triedalmost everything on the menu and this is all I have found that I like. It?s kinda surprising considering I?m not that picky andthey have a large menu. Oh and the tiramisu is delicious. I found the quality of most dishes comparable to Fazoli?s. However, the price reflects a high end restaurant, which it is far from.
Called ahead and placed an order, they said: it's going to be ready in 10-15 mins. Arrived 20 mins later they have no order by my name. Ordered again. People arrived and were turned away because of some flooding in the restaurant yet people wouldcontinually show up and wait to be told they cannot serve them. To top it off the food is way overpriced for the quality. Iguess they think a nice looking interior is justification for over priced spaghetti. I'll avoid this place in the future.
Our Waitress was very friendly and paid attention to our drinks and everything that she needed to, but she didn?t bother us too much. She was very patient with me also when I was having hard time deciding what I wanted. it was a very lovely experience andthe food was great. Everything was just perfect.
