Goody Boy Burger Club - Columbus

I remember eating here back in the late 1980s, when I was struggling. My father was friends with owner whom I 'm sure gas passed away decades ago. The food was good and cheap! The breakfast was Great and the pei es were amazing!! This restaurant is the only one left, that the greedy , $lick real estate developers didn 't bulldoze and destroy!! The neighborhood was entrenched in poverty, crime and illegal drugs back then. But during my tenure at The Ohio State University, I ate here often. So many memories from my youth were entwined with N.High Street and the businesses that I used to support. Sad to see this one if the few places spared by the so-called Short North yuppies capitalist!!

The best thing about this place is it was quiet on the Sunday evening. The last time I went there were a ton of people and it was too claustrophobic. This time was a lot better not being smashed in against bodies. They don't have many drink choices. They offer two goody bags of liquor cocktails and beer. Their menu is really simple. The burgers were so-so. The fries were really good. This isn't a place I would go to unless my friends wanted to stop by. It is meh.

Visiting family came here after a Clippers game. Burgers are amazing and so are the milk shakes. Fries are great too!

Ordered the good boy three times and aftero waffle fries. I had many different burgers and this place had one of the best if not the best burger I ever had! Large, juicy and tasteful. The portion size is huge and the prices are a lot. Very recommended to come here for a big fat burger!
