It was Valentine's Day and customers were coming in continuously. I placed my order in advance and waited about fifteen minutes past my pick-up time without any complaints. I had never seen this place so busy, with a steady line of twenty people. It seemed that as soon as someone left, two more would enter. Despite the chaos, the staff remained composed and efficient. I was very impressed by their professionalism. Th... View all feedback.
This location is the nearest to OSU campus. Their rice bowls are worthy of the price. They also allow the customer to order proteins in1/2 and 1/2 portions. We tried half salmon and half shrimp. They split the cost of the protein in half. You end up paying a little more but worth the cost if you're interested in sampling different proteins. This company offers multiple toppings similar to a poke bowl or chipotle set up. It's one of the better establishments as the ingredients have a fresh taste. On a side note, this location is busy so it's better to order online and pick up.
Philly roll was delicious! Also, I love their new food packaging (made of carboard)! Hoping to see an online ordering option to opt out of bag, napkins, etc soon.
Food is good but this place has operational issues. They must have 8-10 people working at one time but it’s chaos inside. We ordered vegetable gyoza in a takeout order and they forgot to include (seems like a theme after reading other reviews). We called to make sure it was there for us to go back and pickup quickly, we were told yes and unfortunately that was not true. Good food, check your bag before you leave.
Some friends and I went into this location on a Sunday night after a movie and were greatly hosted by some amazing staff, including Erika, Chutney, and Devon. They were very accommodating and hospitable and kind to us all! The food is absolutely amazing, fresh, and well presented!
For my first ever visit, it will be my last to this location. When we entered the store and approached the counter, there was atleast 5 people across the back line, no other customers in the line. Zero acknowledgement for a few minutes so I walked down to the register and the young lady told me that we started where the rice was. We head back down and I made my order- 2 build your own rolls with white rice. They started on my first and as the line progressed, I got sent down to sauce area. I mentioned to this team member that I was also waiting on another roll. At this time my fiance also ordered 2 rolls which she received. After atleast 8 or so minutes of just standing there and everyone looking very confused, a young man chimed in that he made my 2nd roll. I told him that he didn't and he said well don't look at me, I'm just the middle man. At this point I was so upset that we paid for the 3 rolls and 2 drinks. The only person that was sincere was a taller Asian team member who kept saying sorry and that she wasn't sure where the miscommunication was. The two young people at the rice station need some serious customer service training skills. There was no excitement in their body language and no words used at all. Just stared at me, waiting for me to tell them what I wanted. The sushi was delicious but for the price and service, I will venture out to somewhere else next time.
