My family and I were originally going to go to Cracker Barrel around the corner from Frank's. As we were going to Cracker Barrel, we saw Frank's. We left Cracker Barrel to go to Frank's and we were NOT disappointed. I called before we left Cracker Barrel to ensure Frank's was open and that they still were serving. Kim was amazing on the phone when answering my question and their customer service was just as accommoda... View all feedback.
When I first told about this place, I had my doubts, I mean “good seafood somewhere else that a coastal city”, really? Then there was the description of the place, two tables, eight chairs, and a twelve of twelve restaurant. Really? With quality preparation and great service!? Sounds good to be true, so I ignored the recommendation, next to I lived over an hour away. A few days later, my wife reminds me of the place we approached the exit from which this alleged ice cream existed. She insisted on it and I've been chasing. I moved to the branch, and I had no doubt that it was a waste of my time. The interior was as described, but the smell was seductive and the small wall bar had two available seats, so we sat. The smell was wonderful. We order our meals from a "multiple selection menu hanging on the wall", too many opinions, too many types of seafood! My mouth was watering now. We ordered and then our food came from the kindest young woman I had met in a month. Then I ate...... this is the best seafood meal I had ever eaten, where I didn't have to get a little loan. I can't say enough how charming this place is and the food was excellent. Besides, a fish market where you can buy is just to take home about any kind of fresh seafood and make that you can find anywhere.
Oh, my God! Frank is like a hidden treasure – the absolutely best seafood in the city. I recommend everyone who loves fish/Seafood!! The gum is so good, you'd think you were in New Orleans. The fish that is fried has the lightest dough and the tar sauce recipe is so delicious!! Great prices, super friendly staff!!
We tried this little place for the first time and loved it! We tried a bunch of different things; the lobster bisque, chewing gum, Calamari and roasted cod. Everything was delicious, fresh, simple enough spices, especially the gumbo. It's a little place to eat, but I'll be back! Good value for fresh seafood.
I have heard from several family members that I had to come to Frank and I am very happy that I finally made it with my grandparents! indoor and outdoor eating, fast and friendly service, and large portion sizes. Huge selection of seafood in the other half of the restaurant with a hidden wine selection with some pairing suggestions! Super cool place hidden in Hilliard, worth every dollar spent today
Soo soo good. Excellent Shrimp po boy. Big shrimp, toasted bun, just the right amount of spice. Loved the seasoning on the crispy fries. Big portion couldn't finish it all. Took home some excellent thick lobster bisque love the hot pita with the special seasoning that came with the bisque (wish I had the recipe! . Great place for good fresh seafood. Pretty darn extensive menu for a small market restaurant. We were lucky to nab 2 seats in the tiny (10 seat max dining area. A food.
