What Maya Hoppe doesn't like about EL Vaquero Mexican Restaurants:
At the entrance to the Olentangy River Rd restaurant you will see a warm dining room with wood accents. We were through this beautiful room in a cold, hard-lit, tiled floor space with a loud sound system that attacks our ears. The Chicken Diablo (or whatever it was) matched well uninspired fried food with a sick sauce that tasted as if it came from a metal can. We felt we were punished. View all feedback.
The food was super fresh amazing. I had a queen with fried beans for a guacamole. This mango tea has alcohol in it, it wasn't strong at all. Definitely wasn't worth $10. We ate outside and the only complaint I have is the bees.
Everything about this restaurant was a great experience for me. I was particularly surprised that I could taste every ingredient in my grand burro shrimp individually. nothing was exaggerated to drive something else and it was very full.
OUTSTAND Service! But the authenticity of food is 100%! Real Mexican cuisine! I would recommend the #34 Mocajete and Happy Hour Water Melone Margarita.... Don't forget the desert! Sopapillas are great. I would recommend this restaurant!!!! I'm back.
Just had lunch with my coworkers at this location and had a great time! The food was amazing and the staff was so nice. The service was quick and all our drinks were filled without us even asking. The manager checked in a few times as well to see how we were doing. I would highly recommend coming to this location! We will be back!
The chips and salsa was great. I ordered pork fajitas and it was very delicious. I will visit again.
