Pr... read more We had a lovely date night on a Tuesday evening at Copious. Not realizing it was Dine Originals week, we were pleasantly surprised by the prix fixe offering. Presentation 5/5: The plating was a work of art. Whimsical and appetizing, the chefs are to be given credit for their showmanship on a plate! Execution 3/5: In short summary, the dishes had too many notes. Rich and luxuriant, the salmon was cooked to perfection, but had many competing flavors on the plate; spring-green pureed peas fought with a separate heavier rosemary cream sauce for the palate's attention. Further, the confusing addition of bacon delivered an amateurish take on what had the makings of an incredible salmon meal. The lasagna appetizer strove for recognition against a judicious to marked heavy-handed application of truffle oil (it isn't 2005! . Whereas in contrast, the dusted strip steak was served to perfection. Service 2.5/5: Understaffed for a busy Tuesday evening, service was markedly slow and is thus the reason for the lower overall rating. Our waiter was glib and terse, though never rude; merely overworked and unsure of himself. When asked for recommendations (this being our first and only visit , he had nothing to suggest. After friendly cajoling from us, he finally recommended the short ribs. (Though we ultimately elected to try the Dine Originals selections . Atmosphere, Decor, Location 5/5: brightly lit and white, the dining room served to showcase lovely spring themed original artwork, also on offer. Music was soft and not overbearing, enabling engaging conversation over the meal. Overall 3/5: primarily driven by service, and secondarily an occasionally confused palate. In the end, would be willing to try Copious again to see if our experience was merely a side effect of the promotional Dine Originals week

No measuring, no knowledge of drinks in general. Very aloof about it all. Disappointing. If you're looking for quality drinks the are 2 very good places just around the corner.

The chicken and waffles were amazing, though they could use just a touch more salt. I had an issue with my original piece of chicken, but it was replaced right away. Shoutout to Charles in the kitchen! It’s a great spot to enjoy with friends, and we’ll definitely be returning.

We dined on a Su... read more My family and I visited Copious for my mother's birthday, seeking a lovely place with high-quality food, and it certainly met our expectations. We dined on a Sunday night, and the upstairs area was nearly empty. I could hear some live music from the ground floor, which was quite enjoyable, though I'm not certain how many people were down there. The food was outstanding. I had the burger and fries, which were both delightful. The burger was juicy, and the fries were plentiful and flavorful. Other family members ordered the Ohio Walleye, and they all thoroughly enjoyed it as well. For dessert, we all opted for the cheesecake, and it was absolutely one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had. If you're looking for a high-quality meal for a special occasion, I highly recommend checking this place out.

The chicken and waffles were amazing, though they could use just a pinch more salt. I did encounter a problem with the first piece of chicken I received, but they quickly replaced it. A special thanks to Charles in the kitchen! This is a great spot to visit with friends, and we definitely plan to return.

We went on a Sunday evening when the upstairs area was nearly empty, although I could hear some live music coming from downstairs, which sounded great. I’m not sure if there were more people down there, though. The food was fantastic! I ordered the burger and fries, and they were delightful; the burger was juicy and the fries were plentiful and delicious. Other family members tried the Ohio Walleye and enjoyed it as well. For dessert, we all indulged in the cheesecake, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a quality meal for a special occasion, I highly recommend checking out this place!

We enjoyed the best cocktails we've had in all of Columbus, and believe me, we know our cocktails around here. I ordered the quiche of the day, and it was hands down the best quiche I’ve ever tasted. My family enjoyed the chicken and pecan waffles, and I’ve never had chicken and waffles prepared so perfectly. The service was exceptional, the artwork showcased local talent, and there was so much more to love. Don’t hesitate to go— we will definitely be returning!

The grilled chee... read more Stopped in for a quick lunch. The service was great. I ordered the half sandwich and salad for $10. I had the caprese salad and grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was nicely grilled and crunchy. It had what seemed to be caramelized onions in it that added a nice flavor. The caprese salad had very good tomatoes. The fresh mozzarella was acceptable but not the best cheese I have had. Not bad by any means though. The dressing was a balsamic vinaigrette. It wasn't overly strong on the vinegar but I appreciated it. It was different from what I'm used to for caprese. I also really enjoyed the citrus infused water they brought to the table as well as their iced tea. My only complaint would be that the tables are made from an intentionally rough cut wood and my plate did not sit flat. It made it a little annoying to cut my food.
