Contribute FeedbackDespite mixed reviews, Mitchell's is known for attentive service and fresh seafood. While some find the lack of bold flavors disappointing, others praise the delicate preparation. The ambiance and cocktails receive high marks, with a great dining experience for special occasions. However, slow service, cold food, and overpriced menu items have been reported. Despite this, Mitchell's remains a popular spot for seafood lovers. Overall, it's a place worth trying for those who appreciate well-cooked seafood and friendly service.
The food and service were good. We went for a birthday celebration where they said happy birthday but no dessert offered to celebrate. The restaurant was completely empty, not 10 cars in the parking lot even with happy hour, four people in main dining room. We would probably not go back.
Decided to try the Fish Market again after a long absence. Found it interesting that on a Saturday at 6 the place was pretty dead. The good quiet and quaint place for dinner. Drinks were excellent. The food was very tasty and high quality but I ordered the scallops and only got 4. Salmon was great as well. The not so good Server was Ok, for a higher end restaurant I just expected a touch more. Sad to say but compared to another well known restaurant chain it just fell short. Left feeling full, just not worth the higher price point for a lesser experience when I can get a better overall experience elsewhere in Grandview.
We enjoyed a FANTASTIC Anniversary dinner! Eva made great drinks; Judy Renee checked in on us; and Elisa made EXCELLENT dining selections and took pics for us! Food was yummy! Had the Ginger Crusted Salmon and Surf Turf. Both cooked to perfection! We enjoyed the Mitchell's Salads and Crème Brûlée for dessert. The note on the menu was a sweet touch! We'd DEF go back!
Food was good, however service does not align to the price of the meals. For rates being charge a more elegant level of service and ambiance is expected. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Sea bass was over-cooked. Lobster bisque was bland and without any lobster meat. Calamari was average but properly cooked. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was very nice, but the restaurant was notably empty, but it was a Tuesday night. Over all for the price it was disappointing.
