Crab Rangoon is great not oniony. Crispy Pineapple Shrimp was huge shrimp in a tempura type breading with chunks of pineapple and a mayo sauce. Chicken was tender and good sauce. View all feedback.
What Arnoldo Baumbach doesn't like about Coco's Grill Kě Kě Xiǎo Guǎn:
The Honey Chicken was delicious and very good quality. The fried rice? Not so much. They are typically pretty stingy on what 's in it, but this time was especially disappointing. The supposed fried rice was most plain white rice. (I ordered it to go and was already when I noticed the problem. Otherwise, I would have asked them to replace the rice. Service was friendly and quick. I 'll definitely give them another try... View all feedback.
We have a good selection of articles and everything was excellent. The salt and pepper shakers were a little different than they used to, but they were excellent. Cold szechuan noodle is perfect and very addictive. Stir fried lamb was perfectly cooked. Everything was really seasoned.
One of my new favorites! Authentic menu and fast service. Your take on many common courts is somewhat different, but still good. The chili pots are #1- many Laeks onions garlic, peppers and aromatics. Yum! Choy sum with garlic, water spinach with preserved bean curd, and stir fried cabbage are go-to favorite ways to get your green. Garlic eggplant is really good, not excessively sweet, as it is normally different. Other favorites are the crushed potatoes, the spicy bean curd skin, spicy sour bean sprouts and the bean curd skin with jalapenos. Less favorite but still good are the tofu steak, salt and pepper tofu, and the string beans. I didn't like the Tofu Steak first, but it was delicious to eat as remains the next day. I love the salt and pepper tofu, but I really wish it had much more spice - it is really easy on hot peppers and onions and not salty enough. The only negative for me is the rice. It is tasteless and very sticky. This will probably not disturb many people, and it is certainly not a dealbreaker for me, but I prefer the distinctive taste and texture of perfectly boiled jasmine rice. Luckily, I often have this at home. Overall, this is a great place for those who enjoy real Chinese cuisine. Still happy to work my way through all vegetarian options!
The food was delicious. The price is a little more than I expected, but the quality is good, so that's good. Beautiful decor, clean dining area/bathroom, quick service and friendly staff
Cocos Grill has been here for many years. We were often there when we lived nearby. Tonight we made a detour so we can go there for dinner. The dishes were still as good as we remember!
Hot Spicy Chicken with an egg roll which is a perquisite when ordering! Staff is friendly, takeout orders are super fast! This place is always one my regular stops around Grandview.
