Feedback
I have visited other Sunny Street Cafes, but this one was quite disappointing. Upon entering, we were quickly seated since it wasn’t busy. However, the service was very slow. Even though the coffee is bottomless, refills took a long time to arrive. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of fruit, and to my disappointment, the hollandaise sauce was bland and lackluster. I was hoping for a perfectly poached egg with a runny yolk, but instead, I received an overcooked egg with a hard yolk in the center, which is not what you expect from an eggs Benedict. Additionally, it’s hard to mess up a fruit salad, yet the one I received was unappetizing. It seemed like it had been left under a heat lamp since it was warm when served, and the strawberries were wilted. My husband ordered the corned beef hash, which was tasty, but his eggs were also incorrect. He asked for over medium eggs but was served over hard instead.
Been coming here for a long time. I notice the restaurant has increased prices and cut portions. I ordered the meat lovers breakfast. Something I've ordered at least ten times. It came with one piece of toast instead of the usual two, half the amount of bacon that I usually get, 1/3 amount of ham I usually get, half the amount of hash browns and was ice cold. I came 5 minutes before I was told to and the food was already sitting there. I live maybe 45 seconds away from this location and it was ice cold. This has been my experience the last two times I've came so I don't see myself going back. This has nothing to do with the servers. They've always been awesome and I've always received amazing service. Seems like corporate wants to try to cut costs but instead they're ripping people off. Also, you need to season your eggs and hash browns. They're so bland. Just because you have old people done in your establishment doesn't mean everything should be bland. People can ask for no salt if they want.
