Solid burger joint in the heart of Short North! Stack City offers a variety of delicious burger options as well other appetizers and sides that will appease your gluttonous side. Various specials also go on throughout the week, another reason to make the trip over on weekdays. I had the BBQ burger which was delicious and cooked just the way I liked it. What Jeff R doesn't like about Big Daddy's Boom Central:
I have mixed feelings about my visit to Stack City last night. I went with 4 other people and out of the 5 of us I think only 1 person had the correct burger (sorry a lot of numbers in that sentence. 3 of us ordered the exact same burger and all 3 of us received a burger that looked completely different. 2 people sent theirs back and had to ask for the new burgers to go. They texted me later and told me the corrected... View all feedback.
I've wanted to go here for a long, long time. I finally made it today for lunch. It's Humpday so the wings were on special. We tried the Garlic Parmesan flavor. The wings had a good flavor, but needed another 2 or 3 minutes in the fryer. They were soft and I like my skin to be crispy. They also have a lunch deal for $12 including a drink. We had the Red, White, and Blue burger and fries. That grass fed beef is really good. The onion rings are good too, but my favorite is the Biscoff Shake. At first, I was complaining that it was too small, then I tasted it and didn't care. It's absolutely delicious!
Good but Pricey: Food was delicious, but at a bit high of a price point; anytime you pay $10+ for a burger fries should be included. I ordered the 6oz Bison burger with out the goat cheese, and the sauce on the side. My mom got a cheese quesadilla, side of fries, and a cocktail which all came to about $30. Food was good, but the prices will definitely keep me from coming back regularly.
We have been eyeing this place for a while now and we finally had a chance to try it. We got right in with no wait although the place did seem pretty full. The waiter Matt was very attentive and came right over to greet us and grab our drinks. This was our first time here so we had many questions about the menu and Matt was able to answer them all honestly and was extremely helpful. We decided on just getting the Big Stack City burger as it was Matt 's recommendation as the most popular burger on the menu. We also couldn 't decide on a side since they all looked good so we got the onion rings and the fries! We also got fried dill pickles to start for an appetizer. The appetizer was very good, and the herb ranch dipping sauce they gave us went along just great with the pickles. The burgers came and we were amazed how large and covered with cheese they were! (See my picture in this review! It was definitely worth the price unlike some places in the area that also serve burgers and have the word bare in their name that give you a tiny burger for the same price with little to no toppings on it. Anyway.....this burger was large and meaty with all the cheese and special sauce you could want. The onion rings and the dipping sauce they came with were really good and all the food was really hot and fresh! Amazing experience here! Only regret is not trying it sooner!
On the first visit I gave 3 stars, I was immediately contacted by Emily of Stack City to see if I was interested in talking to their general manager about the visit, so I gave her nny contact info so she could. The GM was positive to talk to and asked that we contact her the next time we planned to visit. On 1/10/18 our daughter went to her grandparents and we had date night here and it was a great experience all around! The GM wasn't available last night but our server, Mikayla was awesome! Every time she came to our table, or left our table she was literally skipping! That also might be because she was excited about her upcoming cruise! Wednesday was .65 and .55 wing night so we had wings for dinner and they were delicious! My husband likes traditional, I like boneless and we were both happy with our choices of sauces, BBQ, garlic parmesan. Definitely will return!

The truffle chips were awesome and loaded with flavor, but definitely on the greasy side. They also offer a nice selection of different brews on draft (around 12 or so). Food came out relatively quick. Had a great time with some friends, and definitely a perfect place to pig out on a Friday!
