Asian Kitchen - Columbus

I haven't been to this restaurant in a while and decided to go today. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, but it was terrible. It used to be good, but something has changed. It was missing something and they were very skimpy on the shrimp. I will not be returning.

My family has enjoyed several meals from Asian Kitchen. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean, which is a definite plus. The food is delicious and the portion sizes for the price are very generous. We have tried dishes such as Spicy Fish, Broccoli Steak, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Kung Pow, Orange Chicken, and a few others.

Carryout is the specialty at this restaurant, as they are constantly busy with takeout orders. However, they seem to have some issues with order accuracy and employee complaints. The dine-in experience was mediocre, with dirty tables and lackluster service. The food was average, but some guests seemed to enjoy their meals. Despite these shortcomings, the Hot Spicy Chicken Wings are a standout dish, breaded and sautéed with green onions and chili peppers. The rice was disappointing, being overly salty and lacking in flavor. Overall, the restaurant could use some improvements in their service and food quality. #UpCloseSavor

Ended up here because it was convenient. Got the crab rangoons again. This time they seemed so so. One of us ordered barbecue fried rice and liked it a lot. I ordered the pad thai and was disappointed. I asked for it not spicy. But the sauce that came with it was unlike any kind of pad thai sauce I've ever had. No peanutty flavor at all and kind of runny. The Pad Thai did have more beef, chicken and shrimp in it then other Pad Thais, so that was a good thing.

Food is always hot, fresh and tasty. I always get my order to go, but they have a pretty good sized area for dining in. The restaurant is very clean. My only critique is they may need to hire more staff for managing the phones and the take out process. I frequently wait 3 8 minutes to pay for my food while it sits at the desk. They are taking orders both over the phone and in person at the same desk that people use to pay this could be improved. I am never disappointed in the food.
