What User doesn't like about The Point Grill:
Service is AWFUL! Every time my family and I have come we get served attitude. We tried for the last time with this place. We aren?t the only ones who apparently get treated this way either. Will NOT be back. View all feedback.
I ordered a $19 shrimp Alfredo to go. When I got to my boat and checked my meal, I was disappointed to find only three shrimp in the container. I went back to the restaurant to let them know, and I was actually accused of eating the shrimp! I really wish I had taken a picture for reference. I never expected to receive such terrible customer service. Initially, they denied me a refund or a replacement meal simply because I had left with my food. I didn’t realize I was supposed to check everything before leaving! The whole interaction took about five minutes, and it’s a long walk back down the pier. As someone who works in food service, I can assure you that you would never be treated this way in the restaurant where I work. I’ll be following up with the manager. After insisting, I finally got my money back, but I should have asked for my tip back as well. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
**Beware!!!** This place has a lot of dishonest people. My advice to you is to check the address and distance before ordering. The owner and the manager are SCAMMERS! Here’s my story: I ordered food and, while on the phone, asked for the address. They rushed me to provide my card information and hung up as soon as they had it. When I called back just one minute later, they seemed desperate for the $39. I asked if the food was pre-made and ready to go 'in a matter of seconds.' It felt like I was just trying to buy a friend lunch, but their behavior made me anxious about my card information, so I had to contact the fraud hotline to cancel my card. I paid for an order I will never receive, but at least I stopped any further withdrawals from The Point Grill. Honestly, I was scared they would empty my account given how they acted. I even begged them to send the order to a closer Point Grill so I wouldn’t have to drive for hours for a $39 meal, but they insisted that once the order is placed, they take control of your card. Good luck! I hope others don't fall into your trap. So, you can prepare food in seconds? Keep deceiving those who will fall for your trickery! Have a good day!
Like many businesses these days, they are experiencing staff shortages, but everyone here was wonderful and the food was excellent. Just be patient with the wait staff; they are working really hard.
Wow!! Great fish close to home!! I had the fish basket?the white fish was battered fried(my choice), very fresh and delicious!! The portions were more than I could eat!! It came with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw?-Coleslaw needed to be sweeter more dressing but other than that , it was terrific! My husband ordered the mahi tacos which he really enjoyed as well. I just wish they used Dori or other white fish instead of tilapia. I will be coming here more often instead of waiting to go to Pensacola Beach for fresh fish!! I will bring my friends here also since their birthdays are coming up!!
My date suggested getting the Kentucky Bourbon Chicken and I see why she loves it so much. Very friendly staff and good service. Our meals came with sides of mashed pots, asparagus, and Texas toast which were prepared well and delicious! We also had some Margaritas to boot and enjoyed our dinner. Definitely swing by if you're in the area and want some good southern fare.
