Once again, St. Charles lived up to her reputation as having one of the best pizzas in Tuolumne County. We came to lunch and it was full. We immediately found 2 bar stools (many families prefer a table). We ordered within a minute or so and had our motherlode pizza very fast. It was made perfect as usual. We even have a few Sarsparilla sodas to adjust the old atmosphere. View all feedback.

Love come here because it is family-friendly and the food is great! Service is good, sometimes a little slower when they are really busy, but this is to be expected. The atmosphere is good, but it can sometimes be really loud and it can be hard to keep a conversation. Food: 5/5
This place has really good pizza and is constantly good. The one time we weren't as satisfied with it as usual, Leif took care of us! Our favorites are the Italian sub, the Hippie, and the breadsticks with marinara. Sometimes we will get half and half on the pizza ; They always have the pizza ready to be picked up and the ambience of the restaurant is a good family vibe for Old Town Columbia. The ladies are always welcoming and friendly that work there. Just be aware, this place is hoppin and poppin, so don't be surprised if it is packed or there's a wait... so gooood!
The pizzas are delicious with interesting combinations.Very friendly staff. The ambiance is great too.
I gave this five stars, not due to it being a Michelin level restaurant, but because the pizza was excellent. We ordered the motherhood and both my wife and I loved it! Pretty simple, neighborhood establishment in Columbia, CA. Looked like there were mostly locals, which is always a sign of good food. We also ordered the bread sticks, which were quite different from what we expected. They were almost like 'finger pizzas. ' Also tasted quite good. If you are in the gold rush towns of Toulumne region, this is an enjoyable, easy place to dine.
