Subway - Columbia

I always enjoy those sandwiches, especially the spicy Italian! I have a bit of a weakness for spicy Italian sandwiches, lol.

Significant price increase. I often get lunch here, and my usual order is around $8. Today, however, I found out that the same order now costs over $12. I was told this was due to a price increase, which amounts to a FIFTY percent rise. This has made it no longer a reasonable lunch option for me.

The food was great and served quickly, but the customer service could use some improvement.

You would expect that two people working in a sandwich shop would know how to assemble a sandwich without crushing the bread. On Friday, September 9, the usual staff member does a much better job and knows how to put the sandwiches together correctly.

I was also disappointed with the service; the staff behind the counter were quite unfriendly. The first lady who took my order didn’t make any eye contact and I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times since she was looking anywhere but at me. Throughout the entire process, there wasn’t a single smile from anyone. When I questioned the total with the man at the register, he responded curtly and without any warmth. Given this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.
