My daughter, granddaughter and I were here this morning May the 4th be with you, we didn't get to stay and eat due to personal emergency, but, Prospect staff was, so understanding and amazing , and we are planning a trip back soon because it's clean and friendly and we very much want to add stickers to the bathroom wall with your permission of course. What Jason Neubold doesn't like about Prospect Diner:
Very friendly wait staff. Great vintage diner atmosphere. Food was ok. Not great. Eggs were bland. Home fries tough and bland. Asked for crispy bacon. Got tough, chewy bacon covered in grease. The toast was good and well buttered. So there's a positive I've had much worse, but also have had much better. View all feedback.
Looked like we would have to wait but luckily we were seated right away.the service was excellent and the food very good and reasonably priced
This is probably my favorite place for breakfast in Lancaster county! Great food, friendly service, good prices!
Classic old style Diner!!!!! True Americana, great places like this need to be around forever!!!! Staff was AWESOME very friendly fun!!! Food was FANTASTIC!!!! 10 stars, not just 5!!! My wife and I loved it and our experience, we will always go back to Prospect Diner!!
This charming little spot is a tasty trip down memory lane. It's small and cozy, and more budget-friendly compared to other breakfast places. I highly recommend it! However, they don't offer any dairy-free alternatives; I inquired about it, and the server mentioned that the owner isn't interested in providing additional options. I ordered the Amish Baked Oatmeal, which was delicious. My son had the Texas Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, and he enjoyed it so much that he brought half of it home. My husband chose the Country Style Omelet, which he said was very tasty and exceptionally cheesy.
This is such a charming little spot! My meal was absolutely perfect. I had to switch my order to takeout, and they accommodated me without any issues. I will definitely be back!
