Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Columbia

We did a chicken strip challenge with 11 restaurants. I figured Popeyes would win hands down. The chicken strips were mediocre at best. For a place known for having chicken, their strips did not even beat Arby's.

I don't know if service could possibly get any more rude. The person at the driv-thru window never said a single word to me and was completely rude. Fries were old and the chicken tenders were not flavorful. I've had Popeyes on occasion and some experiences have been pretty good, but after the rudeness of staff and mediocre chicken, I'll spend my money elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

I want to express my gratitude to the incredibly friendly staff at the restaurant on 5/26/22. We were having a tough day and their warmth and kindness really lifted our spirits! The food was delicious and served hot.

This restaurant deserves the award for worst service. The staff take orders one at a time, leading to very slow service. They often run out of popular items like the advertised specials, desserts, or sandwiches. The employees also seem to make an effort to be the rudest in the food industry. Additionally, they do not accept bills larger than $20 for payment, even if the total is higher. This restaurant is not worth the visit and it would be better to go to a different location or try a different restaurant altogether. Unfortunately, my bad experiences at this restaurant have been consistent.

I ordered a 6-piece nugget kids meal and a 10-piece meal, expecting chicken nuggets. Unfortunately, I received 9 pieces of chicken instead of nuggets. Perhaps if the staff were more attentive and focused on their jobs, my kids would have received their nuggets.
