My French friend came to visit and I wanted him to try a cheesesteak. The cheesesteak did not disappoint. I asked for it to be put in the pizza oven for a couple of minutes to just slightly toast the outside of the bread. Definitely try it! The only downside was when I ordered a side of baked mushrooms to share. I was shocked to see in front of me only 5 mushrooms on the plate. Quite disappointing. I will still come... My darling and I came here after a long day in an auction and first I was not sure by the look of the place that would be good and.
The whole mood in this little restaurant is immaculate. the cheese steak and broccoli cheeses are my favorite! Mr.Joe has such a warm and welcoming feeling.
I love this place. the personal is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. eating is amazing and reasonable price. I go as often as I'm in the opposite.
We came here only because we had a starving toddler and the other places in the area were packed. I am glad we did. It was like stepping back in time in this place, which may be off putting to some people, but I think it just added to its charm. The owner was nice, and our kids liked him. The bread for the cheese steaks were the softest ever. The sauce addition (tomato sauce their signature) was good I wouldn't usually get that on my cheese steak, but it was a good addition. Prices were very reasonable. The fries were great too the oil was not old at all like I'm seeing in other reviews. Very good local place that I'd go to again when in the area.
The food is delicious and the owners are extremely friendly. I especially enjoyed the retro sodas!
