Good little store. Kinda miss the old layout to be honest, it had more of a social vibe. Prices are a little higher than average but friendly employees and that's hard to come by now. View all feedback.
What Jessica Jones doesn't like about Elmer's Country Store:
I have Never met such rude staff! This place is not only rude but they like to insult you too! Then you make a complaint and the owner comes after you with straight rude msg. If you look through this man?s reviews most are bad most are negative besides the trucker that likes his free parking to rest. It is in my opinion this owner is the kind of man that gives his dog 4oz of food a day don?t allow his wife to talk unless spoken to and has his kids play with sticks as toys and if you get out of line let me tell you!! Just a bad place if everyone calls shell and asks why they are letting this guy drag down there name maybe it will help them treat customers right with some respect I see I?m not the only one. Never Again
After 10 years of shopping at Elmer 's Country Store (known as Abb 's to us locals) we are done. Ordered a pizza on Saturday night, staff gave us the wrong order. We got a call when we got it home asking us to bring back the wrong pizza. No problem, mistakes happen. Upon returning with it, we were told that we would need to pay for the wrong pizza they sent us out with in order to get the pizza we ordered, as it counted as a loss in their profits. While in line at the cashier 's, the kitchen manager came out and accused us of trying to steal the pizza (as we were standing in line waiting to pay for both pizzas). Upon reaching Abb during the week he stood by their policy of making customers pay for the store 's mistakes. Obviously, we will not be buying our takeout, gas, beverages, snacks or emergency groceries from Abb 's anymore, so another loss in their profits . Forget you, no one needs pizza with a side of public humiliation Abb!
This place is so handy. We were on UTV and the trail takes you to this oasis. We got hot chicken and honey biscuits (nom nom)along with some drinks and a full tank of gas. There is one little table to sit and eat that we used.
It's hard to rate the atmosphere of a convenience store. The food, I am sad to say, is sorely lacking. So far I've had the haddock burger and the pizza, but I could definitely find better elsewhere. But the service is spectacular and they had my order ready on time. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.
