Richards Restaurant. - Columbia City

Always love coming into this place. People are so friendly and the food is awesome, and this place is always clean! Keep up the good work y'all ????????????

All my mom wanted for her birthday dinner was vegetable soup from Richards, but she didn 't want to take the time to eat inside. We decided to order carry out. After calling the restaurant, I was greeted by an employee and told that she needed a minutebefore taking my order. Needless to say, I regret telling her to take her time. No one spoke to me for over 30 MINUTES. I took ascreenshot of the call, but I 'm unable to attach it to this review. Staying on the line this whole time, I drove to therestaurant to place my order and ultimately complain about the service I did not receive over the phone. When I showed thecashier my phone that was still in an ongoing call with their line, explaining that I hadn 't been helped at all, she said, Yeah, I 'm so sorry, I don 't know what 's going on with the phone. What can I get for you? The phone wasn 't working or you justcan 't admit that you forgot about/ignored me? She didn 't care at all. While waiting for my order to be prepared, the one that mymother could have been eating 20 minutes ago if someone had spoken to me on the phone, another employee asked if I had beenhelped yet. I explained that I had, but only after driving to the restaurant after being ignored for over 30 minutes. She said, I don 't deal with the phone. I don 't even know where the phone is right now. It was only at this point that the other end ofline hung up on me. Absolutely no one cared that I went unhelped for so long. In the end, the food was good, as normal, but theservice was really lacking tonight. I even went as far to call the store afterwards with a different number. My daughter and I were having lunch and she ordered a salad . It was brown and nasty ! The waitress is like what am I suppose to do and storms off ! Attitude big time . She never checked on us once during our visit . We won't be back . Andthe girls up front were just standing around talking . Needless to say there was a 1 cent tip and the waitress needs retrainedin manners and customer service !

Chicken could have been a pigeon. First she brings broasted chicken that had been sitting somewhere otherwise not cooked fresh .I had a thigh that was smaller than the wing. My server well just say 0$ tip and I usually tip even a bad server. Won't returnand never recommend.
