Cafe Berlin has frequently been an eating destination for me for lunch with friends. I've found that the waitstaff is attentive, the food is great and I love the fact that it is locally sourced. Lots of vegetarian offerings on the menu. I also like the fact that they are a restaurant that reflects the community in which they reside, the area being full of great local art. Came here for the high ratings, but ended up with an awful experience. The orange juice is approximately 99% pulp. When I politely told the waitress that I don?t like it because it?s all pulp, she said ?yes, because it?s freshly squeezed?. I think these oranges were blended and dumped straight into the glass. I have surpassed my expectations! They can divide most meal times for tempeh and tofu. vegetarian sausage, however, is not vegan. I have the breakfast package and subbed tofu for eggs and tempeh for protein. fiance got the tempeh rub that was delicious. please to be brot, not baked. murphy lee is vegan as it is. tons vegetarian options. updated by previous review on 2021-10-03
It took about 20 minutes to sit down, but as soon as we sit, we immediately got drinks and our orders. eating turnaround was extremely fast! had to wait no more than 5min for eating. I got the breakfast burrito w/o cheese and subdued the tofu scrambble for the egg. I have tried as my protein of choice. absolutely delicious! will definitely return!
Nice, busy breakfast/lunch place that has vegetarian gravy and sausage (not vegan sad! but also tofu and tempeh. menu said most can be made vegan. I have the breakfast burrito sans cheese and subbed tofu for eggs and tempeh for meat. was delicious! has organic and quite sure some locally produced items too. great staff!
