This evening, my mother-in-law and I visited Mike's Family Restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was very clean, and the first thing we noticed was that everyone was wearing nice Mike's Restaurant shirts. Our waitresses were Mary and Emily, both of whom were well-dressed and polite. The menu features items reminiscent of what Mike offered when he owned the place. We started with the cheese sticks as an appetizer and ordered the hamburger steak with a baked potato for our main courses.
Everything has changed since new owners took over. and it's not for the better
We came at time when they had one server and there were 23 of us. She was awesome and the food was delishious.
Mikes has went down hill now that they have new owners! The service is terrible. I ordered a club sandwich and I took one bite and threw the rest away. The ham was slimy!Who ever made the sandwich should have noticed the ham was no good when they made it. It makes me mad when I pay for something and it’s not worth eating. And it’s sad that the manager Patricia is the one waiting on you and you sit 20 minutes waiting on a refill and the person your with ask for a fork that they never get!!A manager should go above and beyond to do her job.Especially when it comes to getting a refill or a fork!!Smh I won’t be eating there again!!!Its sad this place has went down hill like this!!
The waitress was polite, but that was about the only good thing about our visit.
