Tokyo Joe's - Colorado Springs

The first time Tokyo Joe's and it didn't disappoint. Building your own plate is a great option as I like a variety of Veggies. The staff was nice and service was fantastic!! Asked for extra curry sauce and they quickly gave me a page of it. I have a happy customer!! Last but not least, beautiful variety on the menu. Can't wait to go back and try other things!!

The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff is always very happy. Very helpful and patient with us after it was a little before we returned to Tokyo Joe's. We had two custom bowls that had a little complex nature and to their credit, Tokyo Joe has them spot. You even did a great job to make the steak good for my wife. The taste is there, but honestly the $36 price tag is a little steep compared to others in the area. In terms of value, this must lead to a 4-star assessment and is considered more than a “fast expensive healthy meal” rather than a budget friendly. Overall, apart from the costs, this was a fantastic place for dinner. Also good work of staff to keep the food service clean in the restaurant!

Update: After several return journeys were not all pleasant, I changed my review. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The music volume is perfect. But above all the food was excellent. I think I had the latest spring rolls. I think the shrimps were freshly grilled. Overall, I'm very happy. Thank you. I'm enjoying going to Joe's, but this is a little off. I'll be back, but I don't get the same quality of food and service here as other Tokyo Joe's. First, the service is friendly, but the team seems angry that the customers are there: Next, every time I get into the food, is not cooked or prepared in a consistent gentlemen. For example, this last time I ordered the traditional Oyako shell. The bowl was filled with a broth that was too sweet for the bowl. I had this court several times, here and other Joe's. It was never a bowl of broth or so sweet. And the egg was not properly cooked. And finally the music is too loud.

Good healthy food. Good service, front areas and seating were clean, but the men's toilet was dirty and needed attention. Had soap and paper towels, but needed cleaning badly.

Stopped in while traveling, so the menu was new to us. The person taking our order was patient and described the sauces for us. The food was very fresh and flavorful; even the tuna and salmon. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The dining area and restrooms are well maintained and clean. Will definitely stop by again if passing through Colorado Springs again.
