Thai Basil - Colorado Springs

We decided to have dinner at Thai Basil, and it was a fantastic choice! We started with green tea and appetizers, which included tender, crispy coconut shrimp served with a delightful sweet dipping sauce and lemongrass mussels paired with limes and vegetables. Both were absolutely delicious! Next, we enjoyed a lovely coconut chicken soup, followed by their signature dish, Thai Basil shrimp. Since we were looking for something spicy, we requested it to be 'Thai Spicy.' They can adjust the spice level to your liking, but I assure you, if you're in the mood for truly spicy food that warms your soul, this dish will not let you down! Everything we tried was bursting with flavor, and the sauces were uniquely crafted. It had that special taste that feels like a 'generations-perfected-family-recipe.' The staff was friendly and attentive, consistently refilling our drinks. We will definitely return!

I ordered chicken fried rice and egg rolls for takeout. Both were incredibly tasty and full of flavor, and surprisingly, our order was ready 10 minutes early!

Time and time again, their food is delicious. We've been coming here for quite some time and no matter what we order it's always yummy. The portions are big and no one leaves hungry. Service is friendly and fast. Try their house Cabernet! And with those prices have a second glass.Food: 5/5

Sometimes with Thai food, you aren 't sure whether their mild is actually not spicy or just mild compared to super spicy Thai food. Here, the not spicy food is truly not spicy at all. I think it 's got good flavor, but if you want it spicy, then be sure to pick something spicy on the menu or ask for it to be made spicier. Their portions are really generous, which is nice. I can easily make a second meal with the leftovers.
